Silicon Nitride (Si₃N₄) is an advanced structural ceramic known for its exceptional mechanical strength, high fracture toughness, and superior thermal shock resistance. Key properties include a low thermal expansion coefficient (2.8–3.2 × 10⁻⁶/K), high flexural strength (up to 900 MPa), and the ability to withstand temperatures up to 1400°C. Its non-wetting property with molten non-ferrous metals also makes it ideal for foundry applications.

While Alumina is cost-effective, Si₃N₄ offers much higher thermal shock resistance and fracture toughness, preventing cracking under rapid temperature changes. Compared to Zirconia, Silicon Nitride maintains its strength at much higher temperatures and has a lower density (3.2 g/cm³), making it perfect for high-speed rotating parts where reducing centrifugal force is critical.

Lead times vary depending on the complexity and quantity of the order. Generally, prototyping takes 2–4 weeks, while bulk production orders are typically fulfilled within 4–6 weeks. We prioritize quality control at every stage to ensure that every custom component meets the GPS (Gas Pressure Sintering) or hot-pressing standards required.

Silicon Nitride is highly chemically inert. It offers outstanding resistance to most acids and alkaline solutions, as well as oxidation. This makes it an excellent choice for seal rings, chemical pump components, and valves used in the chemical processing and oil & gas industries.
